Auction and Listing Formats
Your site can include more than standard auctions!
Our newest feature is one of our favorites. Members can post Wanted Listings
and accept Offers from other members. Listings can also be configured to be
be for purchase only, and also as Classifeds Ads.
Hosting and Upgrades
In almost all cases will host your auction site, with the domain name of your choice. Our staff constantly monitors the auction servers to maintain peak efficiency. As new software features are added, we will work with you to add these to your site at no additional cost.
The auction software can be hosted offsite with a license purchase.
Monthly Cost and Commitment
After your initial 3 month period, you will be billed by the month, quarter, or year for the hosting services. Single Seller auction sites are billed $59 per month, while Multiple Seller auctions are billed $99 per month. Discounts are available for quarterly or yearly payments.
These fees include hosting of your site, use of the auction software, and the first 3
GB of bandwidth used.

Scalability
The auction software can handle quite a bit, and likely much more than what you will need when you get started.
There is no absolute answer for every situation, as different sites have different needs. For hosted sites,
once your site has grown past 3 GB of bandwidth usage, a fee of $8 per GB will be charged to your account
on an as used basis. Depending on page sizes and image hosting, we have seen sites average anywhere from 20,000 to
50,000 pages per GB of Bandwidth.
But as you grow rest assured that the needs will be met. Our hosting plan is designed to minimize your startup costs. As your traffic grows, our flexible pricing plan will meet your needs and still be fair. If your site grows very large, you will need your own server before you will need more auction program. We expect that the auction software on a robust server of it's own can easily handle in excess of 100,000 items at a given time, with many more registered users than that, with the ability to serve literally millions of pages and requests per month.

Clean Sweep Auctions has been with Auction Express since 2000. Clean Sweep runs monthly auctions of high end sportscards and memorabilia, with 4 major auctions per year. Custom parts of the website include a lookup system to take telephone bids, and a Price Grid that corresponds with a mailed catalog. Clean sweep also uses our online store software to sell more than 25,000 items online.
